Singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor has been left battered and bruised as she undergoes gruelling rehearsals ahead of her debut on U.K. reality show Strictly Come Dancing.
The Murder on the Dancefloor hitmaker was unveiled this week (begs02Sep13) as one of the 15 celebrity contestants set to show off her fancy footwork on the British version of America's Dancing with the Stars, but the tough training for the competition is already taking a toll on the 34 year old's body.
Ellis-Bextor shared a photo of her first injury on her Twitter.com page on Friday (06Sep13), alongside the caption, "Whopping bruise on my arm. Don't worry, i'll dance through the pain, darlings! sympathyvote (sic)."
The 11th season of Strictly Come Dancing will premiere on Saturday (07Sep13). Others set to feature on the show include fashion designer Julien MACdonald and former Bond girl Fiona Fullerton
